Ele M. Harter (Antonelli)
Ele Harter, 86, born May 6, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York passed away June 11, 2016, in Pasadena, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Michael F. Harter.
Ele is survived by her son, Michael A. Harter and Rosie Bizzarro; by her step-daughters, Elizabeth Alcorn and Mark Alcorn, Barbara Choffo and husband Joseph; also by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that she loved so much.
She loved and enjoyed taking care of all of the neighborhood animals. Every summer she would put sheets in the freezer and take them to all the dogs to lay on to be cool, and take them fresh ice water to drink. Every winter she would heat blankets in the dryer for the dogs, and heat their food in the microwave so they could be warm. She had a big loving heart.
The family will receive friends from 11 am until the funeral service time of 12 pm, Friday, June 17, 2016, at Rosewood Funeral Home Chapel, 3939 Pasadena Blvd., Pasadena, Texas, and interment will follow at 2 pm, at Houston National VA Cemetery, Houston, Texas.
Ele was loved and will be missed by all her family and friends.
