Obituary for
Joyce Marie Plumb (Black)
Joyce grew up in Humble then moved to Porter her freshman year where she met and married Donald Wilkerson (father of her children) when she was 15 years old. Donald died of leukemia in 1969.
A few years later she married Don St. Clair. They were married for 12 years and, while they both went on to remarry others, they remained close and cared for each other deeply the rest of their lives.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Mrazek. They were married for 13 years and she missed him dearly till the day she died.
In 1999 she married Charlie Plumb and they have been married for 25 years.
Joyce lived a life full of love and laughter. Her kids and grandchildren were her whole world. They always came first!!!! Not only was she extraordinarily beautiful on the outside, she was even prettier on the inside. When she was around, you could bet everyone had plenty of food and drink, and laughter was abundant. She took great pride in her home and her yard. She spent many hours taking care of it all, making it beautiful and inviting. Everyone was welcome at her home and especially at the lake house in Conroe. Her kids and grandkids brought many guests to the lake house over the years and that was when she was at her finest. Guests always left feeling like they were part of the family. She generously put her time, love, and heart into her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in her name to the Alzheimer’s society would be greatly appreciated.
